Syllabus for CS/IT 910  - Advanced Topics in AI: Natural Computation

Prerequisites: Graduate course in AI, or permission of the instructor.


This course will be a seminar focusing on recent developments and open research issues involving the design and implementation of natural computation systems. The course will be a mixture of lectures and discussion sessions based on leading edge research in the field of natural computation. Topics to be covered will include but not be limited to:

Students will be expected to participate in and lead discussions on relevant papers from the research literature. In addition, a term project will be required.
